Coeburn
Clintwood
Gate City
Appy

PV better conditioned than Appy? I don't think so. Robbins trains his team to be conditioned, but it's not something they have to rely on heavily. The reason for that is numbers. A kid gets fatigued, ya take him out a play or two to get his wind back. And that's easier for a team like PV when you have the numbers and talent to use for replacement. But Appy comes to play and they'll not quit. Not to mention both teams are practically guaranteed playoff spots, so this one is more about pride and momentum. I think it'll be close, but the Dawgs should come away with a hard fought victory.

Pound and Clintwood better than their record? I would say definitely both teams are. But what'll beat Pound in this game is what beats them when ever they do lose: coaching. That's Pound's biggest weakness. And keep in mind I'm only going by what I hear from a woman I work with who's son is on the team and from what I saw when I watched them play Appy.

Gate City has home field and a hall of fame coach. That's a good size advantage. And playing this year's Burton squad, they'll need some added advantages. It'll be close, but Gate City ain't no pushover and should pull it out.

Kelly vs. Coeburn? I hope Kelly wins just to prevent an 0-20 2 year run. But I think Coeburn has enough gas in the tank to beat 'em.
